Bloody hell. I can't go in my own living room. Am being terrorised by a wasp. I just don't have the skills for swatting. I can't hit something moving towards me in a stright line, let alone something with an erratic flight pattern and a bad temper.

Wasps are stupid, wasps are very very stupid indeed, they will quite happily land in treacle, get their feet stuck and sink slowly whilst still eating the damn stuff.

They are also easy to stun with an A4 ring binder.

That said, if you've still got the wasp poblem nine days later, the only solution may well be to nuke the site from orbit.
It's the only way to be sure.

... put some honey or other sweet stuff in a glass into the room and wait for them to go into the glass, put a top on it et voila...
