Oooh tough subject.
I feel that in 75% of cases its a sluts way out. I hate to say it... In a case where it could be deadly or there are severe deformities... I see it as a perfectly humane act...
BUT... Girls now want to fuck everything that walks and think, Ok... whatever... I'll just kill it. Also they try to trap a guy, realize it won't work, and kill an innocent child used in a plot gone wrong.
I off the top of my head can think of three girls who have had two-four abortions in a three year span of time.
That is ignorance. Get on the pill. AND use a condom. Or keep your god damn legs closed till you can act in an adult fashion.
Adoption is a GREAT GREAT thing. INFANTS/NEWBORNS are ALWAYS wanted. There are lists upon lists of people wanting newborns.

I agree with you it doesn't need to be used as birth control...but my arthritis medicine contains misoprostal and the other is plain old methotrexate which are basically the abortion pill...and not knowing two months into it would have either caused me to miscarriage sooner or later or have to try to put a deformed child up for adoption...there was no other option for me...i don't think its the right choice in all cases or should be used as birth control but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be legal cause it's not just a black and white area like that you know...there are so many different needs for it...
