I just opened an etsy shop last month and I'm still trying to learn the ropes. Everyone says promote, promote, promote on the forums and outside of Etsy, but it's a little daunting in the beginning (at least for me).

Honestly, the best thing that has worked for me, is simply listing something everyday, instead of everything at once. I can't stand the forums! The may be better than they were, but when I used to cruise around, I would get so disgusted with people.
