Happy Birthday!

I would like to wish a Happy Birthday to the late Rachel Carson. I once wrote a 12 page paper on her legacy and the part she played in the modern environmental movement. For those unfamiliar she wrote a book entitled Silent Spring, it detailed some of the horrors of pesticides and their effect on living things, intentional and otherwise.
