Thoughts: Jack again here with yet another tragic mortal/immortal love song. More specifically, the line I just don't wanna miss you tonight always makes me think of a moment I wrote in Vizzini's Rule:
Jack sighed. “Part of me has given up waiting, another part of me thinks if it’s meant to be, then it’ll happen on its own. And yet another part of me is just plain tired of not living my life.” Ianto felt Jack’s arms tighten around him. “If I’d met you three years ago, Ianto Jones, I was so wrapped up in my own misery, I wouldn’t have even seen you. And the idea that I could have missed you scares the shit out of me.”
