Here's an idea anonymous January 6 2010, 00:20:16 UTC
I feel for you dear. I really do. I only have a 2 and a half year old and he's a handful so I can only imagine what you are going through. That ebing said, I've found with mine at least, time-outs work wonders as well as consequences (like taking toys away). Unfortunately the youngen's don't understand that we can't just go out and get another one (wouldn't it be great if they did). but if they feel what it's like to lose something they really like, they may understand it a little more. Just an idea. as for the counters... wow. That's scary. I was totally freaked out with Ethan climbing out of the crib on his own so I can't even imagine what I would feel with that situation. I tihnk that's an immediate time-out, if not a quick slap on the butt.\

Take care and good luck
