Last Two Weekends! (There, I got it all out!)

Two busy weekends in a row, wow, that's a record for me. Anyways, last Thursday there was no school so after Whit and I caught a ride downtown with my family and getting some food we went to go meet David for a movie. We went to "The Incredibles," it was pretty good for a kiddie-ish movie. Then Friday was b.c. then Whit came home with me and we hung out and watched zim 'til the concert. When we got there we met up with Cory and his friends Elizabeth and Jessi. It was awesome, the Dresden Dolls are pretty good on c.d. but they rock live. The music felt so good and was making my eardrums vibrate. A. and B. are gorgie. Then I went home with Whit and spent the night. The next day (Saturday) we went and did a little shopping with her mum and sis and sister's friend. It was okay but I was pretty tired. I went home and hung out with my little sis, Kyra, and her little sis, Jolene. They are cuties, although quite demanding. Then Dad and Pen had some friends come over to play pictionary, which I find kinda hokey but I still participate. I kick ass at the guessing part of pictionary (sadly). Then Sunday was the LGBTQ Artshow at ArtsWest. Not much art but I got to meet and hang out with a lot of very cool people. Plus I got to hear some very funny stories from Michael. Then Whit and I got icecream and hung out with Bearett 'til our rides picked us up.

Over this weekend I went to an R.E.M. concert on Friday at McCaw Hall with Dad and Pen. I slept through the first part because it was new music which I didn't like, plus I was tired. Then they started playing stuff like "Losing My Religion" and "Man on the Moon" so I was wide awake for that part. How can anyone ever resist adorable rock vocalists and/or guitar players who are lanky (starved-looking/emo-ish) and dance on stage like they have rubber legs? Then Saturday the fam, fam friends, Whit, and I went to see "Rumors" the school play. I really, really liked it. There were a lot of fun, strange characters like back-spasm Cookie and crazy crystal-rubbing whats-her-name. Fun times. Sunday was boring in a productive way. I made snickerdoodles and got to talk to Kyle for a bit. I also got to talk ot my mom for a bit. She got me a Foamy t-shirt while down in Florida! But Everett's ear tube thingy fell out and was causing him a lot of pain which accounts for why he was really fussy when she was there. But she did get to help him learn to walk and got to see his first steps when she was there. And also, Randy is in Miniola, (sp? sounds like mini-olah as in hello) Texas. RED COUNTRY! WHY!?
