We were all on a rooftop, sitting under verandas wrapped in cucumber vines. I spent much of the evening nervously talking to Elohim, the quiet Mexican, but once the hip-hop dancers started, I realized it was, after all, a party. that sounds divine... i love montreal. and i also love parisians cept maybe when they get a little on dira pedant. mais bon pas grave du tout. en attendant, tout me semble beau dans ta vie a travers ce que tu ecris. quelle liberte, quelle entrain. on est un peu beaucoup pareille je crois.

Most of the Parisians I've met were bitter about Paris and fancied themselves Montrealers. I'll still call them Parisians though - just that I've romanticized the city since birth, and have spent all of one day there (perhaps not to kill the dream). Montreal is a good replacement; it makes me feel all over the world, even though I'm still in my country of birth.

Girl, you started learning spanish in the back of a rusted out el camino on a deserted beach in baja, you just didn't realize it. Ok, when i put it that way it sounds so scandalous. I love it!
