That's so exciting! I'm seriously excited for you, mainly because for the past year or so I've been reading SO MUCH stuff about the digestive system! Both my partner and I have celiac disease and ulcers, and I recently had a gastroscopy and he's had a colonoscopy AND gastroscopy! We basically live in the gastroenterology unit of the hospital.

Anyway, this could totally be cross-posted to Janette's community, glorious_shits. Hehehe..

I think they were showing live gastroscopy or colonoscopy operations in the conference. Ones they can perform without cutting the patient open!

Yeah, they're sort of awesome. They slide a camera down your throat (or up your colon) and take a look around! It's wild!
