Sigh... the job hunt is difficult, but I've barely started. I did, however, post a "resume" on Craigslist, so maybe that'll get me started somewhere. This is really tough, and every little bit I try, I get twice as discouraged ( Read more... )

Hmm...well I think that resume photos are becoming much more common. I have one on my academic cv (as well as a few logos of some ngo's that I worked for)...not sure if I'll keep it on there, though. Honestly I have no idea if it helps or not. But I see them more and more.

From what I've heard, it depends on the job. Some people like hard facts, and others like personality, which I have lots of!

Ganbare! And if you are going to Japan, a photo on your resume is not only a good idear, it's practically obligatory.

Well, JET says no photos or resumes, so I won't send them none of those. But I guess for the private schools, they'd probably want one.
