The next 26 videos I rent are going to be in alphabetical order, letter-by-letter. Only movies I've never seen before. For simplicity's sake, I will not count 'The', 'a', or 'an'. Movies that begin with numbers will begin with the letter their number begins with (i.e. 8 1/2 will start with E), and I will go by the English title, unless the ( Read more... )

but of course, I've already seen it (so many times that I'd forced an Amélie hiatus on myself so not to believe I'd actually find true love by sending guys on treasure hunts. Yes, I've done that before, and no, it didn't work).

You know, after 9/11, when Bruce Willis tried to enlist in all the divisions of the US Military and was rejected due to his age, he decided that the best thing he could do for his country was to only play action heroes. Or something like that. Snakes for America!

I often browse the local library's selection of movies and find that has left things slotted very alphabetically in my mind. A few a's:
Afterlife
Aguirre
Atanarjuat the fast runner.

It's also pretty easy with my big book of EVERY MOVIE EVER MADE! (almost), all alphabetical. Good suggestions, by the way!

Yes, and yes. I've seen All about my Mother, and Amarcord was the first video I found when I looked in the library. Must be a sign.
