oh my goodness, i went to fruiterie sami for the first time about 2 weeks ago. i couldn't even believe the intense colours that hit me when i walked in. and to think it was all coming from an array of fruits and vegetables, i had been to the market plenty of times before but had never seen this place. and the men are so funny. if not a bit creepy. and that day i decided that it was also one of my favorite places in the city.

Yeah, they can be a bit creepy, but I have fun with it. This one greengrocer is a bit younger, therefore less creepy.

The market during pepper season was great! When they had red, orange, yellow, green, and purple peppers all over the place. Oh, and I did enjoy eggplant season too.
