Personality:
At first glance, Will's a serious person that is devoted to his job. With his intelligence, he executed many Witches and solved many mysteries. But after years of watching sad endings, Will got tired of them. He will now fight to prevent them from happening no matter who he has to fight. He will fight to prevent them for happening no matter who he has to fight with. He will do anything to create a happy ending.
He posses a great will in order to archive the truth. Even if a Witch says something negative, it won't make his resolve fall. When Will is determined to do something, it's hard to stop him. However, Will's not the kind of guy that would hurt innocent people who don't deserve it in order to archive his goal.
This man will not tolerate injustice in general. He follows a set of rules, known as the Van Dine's Commandments, in which he will rely on to judge others. You will not see Willard letting someone die if he can stop it, especially if that person is named Ushiromiya Lion.
Will doesn't need to know everyone's secrets if they don't want to share them, he respects other's opinion and thinks they have the right to not tell their secrets. But most of the time, Will speaks in a way that might sound pretty rude. When speaking about the truth, he will not hesitate in making his point of view clear and inform the other person about his opinion about the issue.
Let's not forget about the Heart. For him, one of the most important things in everyone is the Heart. He will put himself into the other's position to understand the reason behind their actions. For him, most of the detectives lack the understanding of the Heart, and that's why they cannot solve some of their mysteries.
Also, he's a calm man with a great mind. He was able to solve the mystery only using the first fourth episodes so far. However, he will not brag about it or show it off. He prefers people using their own mind to reach the answer. But even the most calm man can get angry at someone who laughs at other's pain. Especially when they hurt others only to amuse themselves. For him, people's lives aren't something to be played with in the beginning.
Apparently, Will likes cats. And he's really devoted to his lady.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
Strengths
► Skilled fighter with a sword based weapon.
► He's pretty stubborn when he wants, but he gains his determination from it.
► He doesn't ignore the heart when it's involved.
► A real intelligent person
► It's really hard to piss him off really badly.
► He's a good-hearted person
► Will's a good detective and archbishop.
► He's good at understanding other people's feelings.
Weaknesses
► He doesn't have enough self-preservation instinct if he's
protecting something he cares. Best example ever: Going to fight Bernkastel even knowing he can't win.
► Ushiromiya Lion. He swore to protect him, and he will do it.
► Will's tact is something that he needs to work with. Most of the time he will end sounding rude, even if he's not doing it on purpose.
► He doesn't show many facial expressions, so it's hard to know what he's thinking.
► Stubborn as hell.
► He dislikes people who ignore the Heart.
► If your name is Bernkastel, he doesn't like you.

First Person Sample:
[A video feed starts recording what it seems to be a man, with his hand in pockets looking at the screen. Next to him there's a mewoth eating his own food happily.]
Nhg... You must have been hungry. [A small pause at that fact and he closes his eyes a bit.]
I'm sure this will let me communicate with someone here. I don't have time to lose, so I'll go to the point. I'm looking for someone named Ushiromiya Lion. Contact me as soon as you can.
[When he's about to end the feed, he notices that Diana has eaten everything. His face doesn't seem to be bothered as he adressed the people again.]
... Hn. And a place to buy some some cat food too.
[With that, he ends the feed.]
Third Person Sample:
It had been a long way since New Bark Town to Cherrygrove with the current weather, but Will didn't care at all. As soon as he found out that Bernkastel was here, and knew that Lion was in the other city, rushed there without resting to keep his promise. Besides, he didn't like the idea of having that Witch around.
They weren't her toys, and they never were to begin with. His meowth did a good job fighting the wild creatures outside this new Fragment, and she deserved a break. And probably some food since she ate it all during this journey.
"You shouldn't have eaten all your food, Diana." He said with the same face as ever and then let a small sigh leave his lips. "Once we arrive to the Pokemon Center, I'll buy more." Will added after that, looking for the cat's approval
The meowth replied with a happy purr, excited at the idea. She made herself comfortable in Will's head as the man was walking through the snow trying to reach the city. A few hours later, he managed to leave his pokemon with Nurse Joy and went to buy some food.
When Will came back, he found that part of the furniture of the Center had been destroyed. The only thing Will did was sighing at the scene, his expression didn't change at all. Diana appeared some minutes later, claiming for food. The Inquisitor just looked at her, almost if he were trying to understand the reason behind it.
"... Hn. You honor your name, you know?" Will said as he knelt down to feed the pokemon. The Nurse approached the owner of that creature, who just stood up and put his hands in his pockets, with a small paper in her hand and a confused expression in her face.
It was a bill.
"Don't try to understand it. It'll only give you a headache. I'll pay for what Diana destroyed, Nurse Joy." Was the first thing he said, and then looked at her in the eyes. "Hn... My apologizes." With a small glance at the pokemon, who was finally happy to have her stomach full, Will left he Pokemon Center to find a job and make enough money to pay that bill.
He could only hope that Diana wouldn't destroy anything else while he wasn't there
