Variety reports that a film about phony author JT LeRoy and "his" literary hoax is in the works at the Weinstein Co. Jesse Peretz (The Chateau) is set to direct, and Tom Lassally (Stay) will produce the film about writer Laura Albert, who pretended to be sexually abused, HIV-positive teen runaway JT LeRoy in order to become a literary sensation,
