I know it sounds weird and all, but does anyone still go back and read Dani's old posts?  I do from time to time.  Not like it feels any more like she's still with us (though I do feel like she's watching), but because through good times and bad, her journal was always a pretty fascinating peek into her head.  She was just...relatable.

When my best friend died I reread all the letters she had written me over the years. For a while I could imagine she had just gone away, they lasted me while I needed them too.
I reread dani's journal in the same way but now I would really like some new stuff.

In fact, I've archived a lot of the comment storms she and I had in times past. She was always one to come up with the most hysterical things to say in LJ comments.

To be honest, it's still a little too much for me to handle. Her birthday is in a couple weeks, though. I'm sure I'll be paying a visit.

Yep. I do. I hadn't in a while though so the picture of her on this page... I forgot how much thinner she'd gotten before she died. *sigh* oh, Dani :(((((((
