There is a snort, and the camera gets bumped, turned, the angle now showing a kirin. Clearly, he is not impressed, for his tail is lashing back and forth angrily

Youko tucks her device into her coat and rushes to the kitchen, arming herself with something more effective than her sword against the swarm of insects: two bottles of anti-bug spray. Ready, she leaves the apartment to search for Keiki on the streets, covering her mouth and head with her hat and veil.]

Keiki! Stay down.

[The winged woman coming to rest beside her Taiho's lord, ceasing her actions as she did so.

Keiki's head arises, yet staying still drives the bugs along the corner of his eyes and along the tender flesh of his muzzle. He shakes his head again, for nothing seems to get rid of the insects.]

[Youko tosses a bottle of bug repellent towards the protective Nyokai. Thousands of years ago didn't count the the commodity of modern insecticide. Youko sprays the air around them. The smell is awful, but harmless to them.]
