Hey! Good to know you're still alive and helping grumpy old people with all their public pool swimming needs.
I'm really interested in Gnosticism. I don't think I'd call myself a Gnostic, but it's definitly influenced my take on Christianity a lot and I believe a lot of early Gnostic texts are just as valid, if not more, than anything that ended up in the bible.
That being said, it makes me sad that the only Gnostic text that ended up in the bible was John and I sort of hate John. It's way too dogmatic and threatening for me. I'd like to read some more gnostic-based critiques of it to see if that would make me like it more, but I'm not sure it would.
1. I love how you change religions all the time. Sophie and I used to talk about your phases. I love it.
2. Tell the old people that they should dance more in the pool. It warms water up better than peeing, especially if you do it to NIN or Black Sabbath.
3. I'm a shithead for not calling you back this weekend. I was wasted. No excuse. In two weeks when I'm home we're going out to a birthday lunch or dinner at the usj mexican restaurant with margaritas and it's not only what I owe you but I'm looking forward to it.
