Did you try iatsi? They have bigger pictures there are also other unions and maybe find out why you didn't get in. Unions are full of politics and you may have worked on shows that have bad blood with them. Or maybe the shows you have done don't meet there standards. Don't give up on your dream just approach it another way. Theater, fashion. Are other options. I think your work that I've seen is awesome but a lot of film is WHO you know not how good you actually are... film people are sometimes snobs and there isn't much work right now anyhow.
I can put my feelers out and see if the artist i know on indie shows need helpers?
