I have been having the most obtuse, irrational dreams lately. Last week, I had a dream that Josh and I were traveling cross-country together-- I suppose around this time. I had a dream over and over in the months leading up to my wedding that I was getting married in the park near the hall and I was wearing these pretty little ballet slippers. I was walking across the road to get to the ceremony and make my entrance when I stepped on a big peice of glass, which cut through my slipper and into my foot, leaving a cut in the shape of a crescent moon that spanned the arch of my foot. I went into shock and looked at it for a moment but kept walking right up to the front, but spent the whole ceremony thinking about my bleeding foot rather than focused on one of the most important moments in my life. The dream kind of skipped to later, during the cocktail reception, when my foot was banadaged by my mom (she's a nurse) and people are walking by me in a kind of reception line, but I'm sitting with my foot up on this ugly plastic chair. Everyone is talking about my foot rather then about the wedding, and my mom is standing behind me trying to get me to go to the hospital, but I didn't want to go. There was ( ... )
