Pinatas

Jun 24, 2005 12:43

I have yet to decide whether or not I like pinatas. I like how they look, so colorful and cute, but I hate smashing them to little bits, just like I hated killing our OM fairy godmother/dragon after the World's competition, because I feel bad for inanimate objects. But then pinatas are designed to be smashed, they exist for that purpose only, so I ( Read more... )

Correction to your comment on my Xanga: I am not switching to LJ. I'm not allowed to switch to LJ.

I don't consider myself to have a friend, because I consider friends to be people I trust, and right now I'm having a lot of trouble trusting people. I need to sort a lot of things out right now.

I'm sorry for not commenting on the actual entry, but I already did that on your Xanga. So it seems kind of pointless.

This post is almost poetic. You have a gift, my friend. It's called coherent rambling. It can get confusing and then finally all fit together and make sense-ish. Ah well. My counselor looked me in the face and told me that, while I have lots of potential, I'm probably going to either Rutgers or TCNJ. So, we'll be seeing each other around. Fun. We can have a pinata and I was gladly whack it in your stead if you feel squeamish about injuring said pinata.

I read your comment twice, and both times I thought it said "pathetic" and not "poetic".

Thanks for the compliment, I think. I'm still wondering whether "coherent rambling" is a compliment.

I'll feel sad anyway, watching the pinata get hit. I'd rather have one, whole and unwhacked, and keep it as a friend in my bedroom, along with all of my elephants, whose number, by the way, keeps on increasing, as my mother never goes out shopping any more without bringing me back one, at least a small one. Soon I will have no shelf left in my cluttered room. And when I go to college, well, I really have no idea what I will do with all of those things.

Go to TCNJ! It's getting better all the time. I like it a lot, as much as I can possibly like a college when I don't want to go to one at the moment.

This comment is like an entry in itself.

Shruthi, I think you should tell your counselor to go FCUK herself. At fcuk.uk.co. Because you can go ANYWHERE you want to.

Right, Katia?

Alright. You've either been reading too much in Russian, writing too much for Schultz (I guess this is a bad time to mention him), or reading too much Catcher in the Rye.

Because your entry was all circular and it sounded very much like a book, or chapter in a book. And it made me feel like you should use it as such. I must discuss this with you further, in person.

I'm also responding to something you said in my LJ.

Also: WHOM I believe is going to Michigan. Not that that helps anything, at all. Since when do I help things?

I LOVE YOU! See you tomorrow,

actually "who" is correct there because it's used to replace a second subject. The actual mistake that I made is that "Lolita" should not be in quotes, but it should be underlined, but I couldn't do that here.
is the "writing too much for Schultz" thing a compliment?
I'm continuing with "Them" by the way, mainly thanks to you.
A chapter in a book? Maybe, when someday I'll write a memoir about high school.
