I did something stupid

I feel so dumb and stupid and heartless. I sent some lyrics to my godson, with no explanation. He deleted it, and got mad. I don't blame him, as they are less than flattering lyrics, but they were not directed at him. They are the result of a very difficult few months of counselling others, and in my haste, I gave no explanation. If anyone is still

I guess I just feel guilty, a lot of the time, if I offend or upset anyone. I will look for ya, my friend. Nothing really terrible to reportt, just a LOT of family stress. My father and his siblings are all very, very ill - it is a horrid race to see which of the three will die first:-( But, I cannot control that, just give them love and compassion.

guilt is a consequence of shame, and shame is the most unnatural emotion us humans experience. It's purely cultural, there is absolutely no reason for it. So you have violated social norms, as defined by a group of people (or in this case, one person). It's what you feel, and there is absolutely no reason to be ashamed of that

Ahh, there is no way my grandsons would act liken that - and they are 3 and 7. Was my god-son, no worries, he will either come to his senses or not.
