I completely agree with you man... a hot meal after work made especially for you is sure as hell something else. J doesn't get bored some days ah? TSO gets bored like once every few weeks and when that happens, it usually means planet retail. Haha.

Oi.... your service apartment got cleaner or not? Can lend me? Mine must clean ourselves nia. Some more carpeted and with a woman in your midst, you'll be drowning in hair if you don't vacuum regularly.

Heh, I'm thoroughly enjoying the test drive leh! In fact, I'm enjoying it so much I'm thinking of bringing forward our ROM. Initially, we'd planned to have the wedding and ROM on the same day, but now ... *jumps around like a happy monkey* LOL!

But hor, I know J lah. I don't think she'll be happy being away from work for too long. But even if the Domestic Goddess shows up every now and then, I'll be a happy man! I just love having her around the house. Darn, when did I become so domesticated? SCARY!!!

As long as you both are happy, you dun have to conform to what the world says you both should be, you know what I mean?

I know I love working and being outside of the house and that wouldnt mean that I cannot be domesticated.. once in a while.

When's your ROM and the big day??

Yes, I think I know what you mean. Thing is, I've kinda decided that I would like J to live with me when we come back to S'pore and even though we don't have to, I think moving the ROM forward will make her happier in light of this. In my mind, we're already married anyway, so I'm perfectly ok with it lah. Heh! Right now we're thinking of April for the ROM and end of the year for the church wedding, dinner, etc. :)

Actually, J's a pretty independent and capable career woman ... which suits the gorilla just fine coz I can't imagine a clingy and needy kinda gal being able to tahan my work lifestyle. So all the more the "domestic goddess" side of J is so precious and rare. I nearly fell off my chair initially seeing the (I hate the word) "homely" her. LOL!

I dunno if it's the power of love or lust or what, but I just like having her around the house lah ... or rather, making the house feel more like a home. :)

I'm glad you're experiencing first hand how domestic life is before you get hitched. I invested in earplugs,and I found they're the best thing for blocking out noise,including snoring :P

Hey babe, it's good to be back! How have ya been? Erm, I'm trying to catch up with all my friends' blogs ... talk about a backlog! Hahaha!

I see you are/were inflicted with a snoring primate too huh? My snoring's usually tolerable, but when I'm really tired ... oh man! Erm, not that I have any recollection of coz ... save for the bruise marks on my body from J's punching as evidence! LOL!

But yeah, I'm glad to have experienced domestic couplehood before tying the knot. At least now I kinda know what to expect and, more importantly, how to deal with some of the bad habits.

I've been pretty good. Its a new year so I hope new good things will happen to me!! :D Ya its hard to keep up when you've been away from lj for awhile lol!

Ya I was afflicted with snoring. It drove me nuts,and I did the same thing as J, I punched him like mad,or nudged him,but it would only last for a few mins before he rolled over and started again hahaaha,but oh well,I've been told I snore too so its only fair hahahaa!

ya dealing with bad habits before getting married is a good way to do it so you're sure they're nipped in the bud and know how to handle them if they get out of hand :p My brother does the annoying hugs from behind to his fiance when she's in the kitchen too,it drives her crazy when she's trying to clean/cook. I just find it funny and cute.

Babe, I wish you only the best for 2007! :) I can feel it in my bones that this is gonna be an important year for J and me too. In fact, we're now planning to register our marriage (we call it ROM for short in S'pore) ahead of the church wedding, customary dinner (a very Chinese thingy this), etc ... so yeah, it looks like we both like being "domesticated" under the same roof. Down boy, down! LOL!

I totally empathise with women who have to bear with snoring partners. Punching the gorilla has only temporary effect too, so poor J!

Hey, what can I say? There's something strangely attractive and sexaay about a woman toiling over a meal in the kitchen. I can't explain it. :D
