Ken called last week demanding that I free up the entire weekend before my ROM, then Pete issued the very same order the next day. Heheh, ya don't have to be a mind reader to know what these two dickheads are up to. Can you peeps guess? Let's just say there better be plenty of booze and, y'know, general "debauchery"? Kekeke! An entire weekend and ( Read more... )

haha I think if you *do* screw up, you'll whack yourself. I don't think it's so much as taming but more of growing up.

Babe, you know lah ... there'll always be this playful boy inside of us guys. Some women think men don't grow up ... our toys get bigger! LOL! On the flip side, my buddies are griping that I'm becoming way too domesticated which I guess is their subtle way of saying I'm starting to act grown up! Hahaha!

You know ... when my mom married my dad, he didn't know of her secret bank accounts. Even til today, we know they (probably) exist, but we don't know where they are...

Heh, interesting ... but I bet she knew all about his not-so-secret bank account(s) right? LOL! Hmmm, and are ye hinting that I could probably keep my blog a secret without J ever discovering it if I wanted too? ;)

Well, there is the advantage of being able to be brutally honest, not couch my words ... and not having to look over my shoulder to see if she's coming at me with a parang for being a cheeky gorilla! Hahaha!

Congrats for your ROM! *hugs Buzz*

Aww... this entry is really nice. Reflective but not losing that 'cheekiness' you've always had. :) I think one reason why many of ur blog pals, including me, like coming to your blog n reading what you write is 'cos your writings are so honest, unpretentious and sincere. We can relate to your stories in one way or another. I'm sure if one day J do read your blog, she will like it too. :)

Btw, just a question.. That day, my boy suddenly asked "how do a couple know when they should get married?" I said "well, when they are ready?" and he asked "when is it that they are ready?". I'm not too sure about it too.. Maybe you can share some thoughts/feelings about it? :p

Thanks, lil' cow! :) Glad you can relate to the gorilla tales. Y'know, I've really learned a lot from my blog pals too ... A LOT! Man, I've lost count of the numerous helpful advice you guys have given me over the last 5 years(!) ... always makes me glad I started a blog in the first place. Heh, not to mention all the hilarious and entertaining comments I've received. I love re-reading them from time to time coz they never fail to cheer me up! :D

Hmmm, as for how ya know when you're ready for marriage ... well, I can only speak from my own experience. Erm, maybe this post might help? ;)

Thanks Buzz! Read that post before, but re-reading it now takes on a different meaning.. Maybe 'cos the last time when I read it, it wasn't so 'applicable' to me yet but now things seem to be moving towards 'that direction'. (If you get what I mean.. ;P)

I totally understand. Ask me 5 years ago about the Big M and you'll get the Sound of Silence. Hahaha! Wah, but the fact that the boy is asking means he's seriously thinking about it leh! What about you, lil' cow? ;)
