We're going to Andy's dad and step-mom's house. I'm not sure what I am looking forward to eating because his step-mom tends to be a rather bland cook... I am looking forward to eating everything I am making anyway! I am making sauteed green beans with bacon and slivered almonds, cranberry chutney, stuffing and pumpkin chiffon pie.

I have to work Black Friday, so... yeah.

Pumpkin chiffon, mmmm. I have my regular old pumpkin pie in the oven right now. I can never seem to do it right, but here's hoping this one will turn out.

I am sposed to work Black Friday as well, but I am "sick". I always seem to be sick that day...

lol

I am actually sick (again) but I doubt I'll be calling in unless something drastic happens. It's not like I have money to go shopping anyway!

I've never made a regular pumpkin pie before.

My boyfriend is going CRAZY and making a full-on huge Thanksgiving dinner for just himself and me (his family's in Denver, mine's in NJ). I keep telling him to just make something small but the man doesn't do "small" and "cooking" in the same sentence.

Seriously, he bought 10lbs of potatoes for TWO OF US. I'm going to drown happy in a bucket of mashed potatoes. :D

ooh, make potato pancakes the next day :)

I love having way too much thanksgiving day food. There's so many delicious leftover recipes.

I LOVE POTATO PANCAKES.

I think I need to make him start making potatoes NOW so I can have potato pancakes ASAP. :D

Darren and I are going to anais2's house. I am looking forward to eating my weight in foodz. No black friday plans; I work at 5pm.

Nope. One of the advantages of my parents not being supportive of Darren and I: I have an excuse for the holidays. No screaming children or drama, just delicious food and dogs. :)
