I was in LA in April and stayed over at Laguna Beach. The sun was shining - but now I'm here in the pouring rain - wet Sundays - yuh!

I do get a real laugh out of you LJ interests versus your regular work routine. It really is neat to have a fairly anonymous venue to pursue other interests and ideas. I went and took a look at one or two of the communities above. I had no idea how far down your tattoos reached. Over how long a time did they take to do and are they still growing? I am not generally a big tattoo fan but I will say yours look quite nice, very original too.

Thank-you! I guess I have about 60 hours of ink-work in total, but done over a few years. I think I'm taking a break from it now, but who knows in the future?! Overall, I'm pretty pleased with them, but I would plan them differently if I had a blank canvas again.

I must admit that I LOVE being able to keep my interests away from my work colleagues. My work skirts (or trousers) are just long enough to cover my tattoos and none of my piercings (apart from my ears) are on public display. I love it that people assume that they know what you're like when really they don't have a clue!

I didn't realize that you had some piercings too. Can I ask how many and where? I have had my tongue pierced for two years now. Half the time I forget that I have it done. I did surprise a lot of friends and family though, I never did get either of my ears pierced. I still wonder how many people just don't notice and how many people just don't say anything.

Now I'm surprised - I didn't imagine that a tongue-piercing would be acceptable in your line of work. It's cool, though!

Me? I've got both nipples pierced and three genital piercings(!?). Needless to say, they don't come out at work!
