As many of you have noticed, I haven’t been around much lately! I have kept in touch with some of you via e-mail, mainly in response to notes I’ve received. I have, however, been very negligent in updating my Journal and responding to Comments

I sure can relate to this statement! life happens and sometimes, it really sucks! The same can be said of "major personal issues"good luck with that one.

It was only as the first branch came adrift that it dawned on me exactly where this branch would end up; i.e. on top of me! Luckily (?) a very prickly bush saved my fall!

Y'know if I were dirty-minded I would have a real zinger for this sentence! ;P

Good for you though, taking the initiative to climb the tree and all rather than hire someone is an admirable course of action! That you have battle scars because of it shows you are an adventurous woman (if somewhat unlucky, and this might be a slight understatement given your past history!)
