My seventh grade class acted out the story in a play.
Faith wasn't the problem, it was hope. Definitely, definitely hope. Though, depending what it is a person's throwing their faith into, there might not be much of a difference.
It wasn't like there was anything else she could do. She was a very young and DYING girl. She probably would have otherwise been playing board games. It's just about hope, not faith, as rhapsodisiac said.

i think you missed my point: if i was terminal i would want to do as many of the things i always wanted to do before i died. for me, just lying in bed making paper birds is a waste of time. that is logical.
O.k I have a question... When you write a song, is it what you are feeling at the moment, or is it something that has been bottled up inside of you and at that particular moment you feel compelled to unleash it? The only reason I ask is because I wrote a song last week and it has been something on my mind for a while now, just wondering what your thoughts are on that!

either or really. the main thing i try to do is not think about what to write about and/or why i am writing it. in the end i always end up writing something. however, more commonly than not i don't even realize what it is i am writing about until i'm half way done; in some cases not for a good while later. all and all, it comes down to an individual thing. just like everybody thinks differently, everybody writes differently. by the by, kudos on writing the song. gimme a call sometime 560-0094.
