Last Friday after work, i would have enjoyed a more relaxing night at home.  Instead i drove my sister and i to dinner with my grandparents.  It's not that i don't care about them, it's just that i feel almost no  connection with them at all.  They have values and beliefs that differ so much to mine, i find it hard to enjoy their company at all.

I've already said this I think, but your Dad's actions at the moment are pretty full on... He doesn't seem to be thinking of other people, including yourself and your sister.

I hope this isn't him reacting to grief or trying to cure his sadness with something else to focus on...
