DJ: Alcholic with a large music collection. Downloads all his music from the internet and claims this supports the bands he's ripping off. Is insulted when Scenesters don't dance to his brilliant mixes, but has nothing but contempt for their musical tastes. Reading this a day after the first comment I made - I'm now even further motivated to make some changes and personally do what I can to see things grow, flourish and even possibly revitalize an apathetic Detroit electronic music community... Off to the music store to purchase some music.

BTW Josh is almost done with the latest Function 13 stuff... have you heard any of the remixes he's posted on his website??? Good stuff!

I went to Dearborn Music and bought Everclear's best of yesterday. Everyone I've told to so far has sneered, haha. I take that as an encouraging sign I'm doing the right thing by getting into music that actually moves me. :)

I haven't heard the remixes yet, other than Pulse State playing his at Mephistos. I'll check them out.
