Finally some art! Askari contest entry

I spent so much time today just drawing. I worked on my Askari contest entry. I hope it's good enough to have some sort of a high standing? Maybe? D:

"How do you SHADE something that's already in the DARK? ; ;"

You end up doing more highlighting than shading. Depending on your light source, anyways. Unless it's a bright moon or right near a streetlamp, the lightest bits are going to be the little lines of highlight. :x Maybe thinking about it like that might help?
