I'm glad they are looking for people who can sing...with some exceptions it looks like, but I was none to thrilled with his performance at the 25th anniversary thing...there was a lot of speak-singing, which I thought was kinda annoying. Still he is so much better than hiring a nonsinger a la Johnny Depp and Helena in Sweeney Todd.

Well, at least he's a legit/talented singer and has theatre experience... idk, I really was not feeling his performance as Valjean at ALL. Obviously he's the best choice out of all the random non-singer Hollywood celebs they could cast, but I'm hardly elated.
