Susan Stroman Signs On to Direct Stage Musical of Tim Burton’s ‘Big Fish’

Susan Stroman, the Tony Award-winning director and choreographer (“The Producers”) who was nominated for both jobs on “The Scottsboro Boys” in this Sunday’s Tonys competition, has her next Broadway project: A musical adaptation of the film and novel “Big Fish,” aiming to open in spring 2012, the producers announced on Wednesday.
