\o/ Congrats! And I love that dress, it's so beautiful
My advice- look on ebay. There are a ton of shops who will custom make a dress for you in any size and they are MUCH cheaper than anything done over here. I'm going to see if the seamstress I used for my friend's wedding is still taking custom orders. We send her a picture of a dress that retailed at $6000 over here and she made an almost carbon copy for $500.
I'm going to poke around for you though. And if you need any help planning, don't be shy. I've planned 3 weddings so far and I have a ton of experience with it <3
I would be so grateful! because I love this dress, and it would be able to be multifunctional too. not just sit in the closet after the big day. I could wear it to the opera or ballet kind of thing.
I may have to take you up on it, if you don't mind planning in Oklahoma for cheep lol. You would of course be invited ^_^ might have to have someone do a skype version of the wedding so all my LJ friends could come haha
http://stores.ebay.com/superyang2011 look at some of the dresses in this store. There are a few that are close to what you are looking at (and adding a blue sash like in the picture above doesn't cost very much). They also have a gazillion colors to choose from and every dress is custom made.
There are also a few stores on etsy I've found but they're in the $1200+ range. Did you want me to search around a bit more on there?
