...I am somewhat disappointed with my first purchase of alcohol. I didn't even get carded.

Do I really look like I'm more than 30 years old?

I don't always get carded either... actually there was like 6 times in a row once where I ordered a drink at different restaurants and didn't get carded.

It was weird being back in the US and getting carded, since the drinking age is 18 in Britain, I got used to not being carded ever. The first time back in Cal last Christmas, I got asked for ID and I strangely got annoyed.
