Losing a friend :(

"Llanerch?" was usually all any of us had to say and we were there.

The Llanerch Diner was like a trusty old friend somewhere you could always turn to when nothing else was going on.  Sure it looked like a dump but it was our dump.  The seats were worn down from years of use and it hardly had any light at times.  Its smell wasn't quite appealing ( Read more... )

wow. that sucks. i don't live around there but i have gone there several times (when i lived nearby and when i visit my friend who lives in havertown).
i also gave them (the former staff) for being nice when i ask if soups have beef or vegetable stock, etc...they were very nice and accomodating towards my vegetarian questions. (not that you care, but it was a marker of their good service) and yes, the old waitresses were often sassy about it, but in a way that only earned them a bigger tip.
does that asian guy still work there?

BAHAHAHAHAHAR. Apparently being a former Steeler isn't enough to secure a government position, nor is bearing the name of a formerly amazing place good enough to continue this legacy.
