Sim Secret is getting Ridiculous.

It really is, all the personal attacks, now on some of my friends. It's sturring up trouble everywhere. I'm getting sick of this. I showed legacylover, or Lizzie, the messages about her and she was depressed for the rest of the night. It's not fair

By linking SimSecret to boolProp I mean I linked SimSecret ON boolProp.

First, you have to understand that different parts of the Sims 2 community can prove to be very different. BoolProp is a friendly atmosphere suitable for all ages. The LiveJournal Sims 2 community, however, is full of snark. Granted, they can all be very nice people. Just nice people that are full of snark.

And yes, I agree. It's getting very annoying. The people who secrets are being posted about have done nothing wrong. I hope the mods at SimSecret do something about the personal attacks, because it is getting ridiculous.

Let's face it -- I was posted something, so I got one back. *shrug* I'm okay with it. My only problem is WHO's posted it.

The personal attacks are annoying, but I don't necessarily have anything against them. It's the internet, people think they can do whatever they want and not get in trouble for it.
And it's sort of true. The person they're wanking on is probably not going to come after them in real life.

The secrets about legacylover, I agree with.
Sorry, but they're true in some cases.

All in all, I'd like for the personal attacks to stop. Already Jay got a secret posted about her. And Emily "kind of" got one posted of her. So I keep thinking
"Oh crap, I don't want to be next."

It's really awful, because it's somebody's opinion about YOU, and you have no choice really but to listen. Although I think the person who wrote mine would have got me to use better "english", if they had have PMed me nicely on boolprop / LJ.

Yeah, I know it feels bad, but everyone is always going to have an opinion about you by the way you act, dress, look, etc. Legacylover had the choice to find out that secrets were posted about her, but Nicole showed them to her. The only good thing about her finding out about the secrets is that she's gotten better, but I still think it'd be better if she didn't find out.

Patrick, the reason I didn't meantion it to you was because you enjoy the sim secrets. And I kinda still do, but I like Lizzie(legacylover) and she's gotten much better.
