Canon History
Strengths: Tieria is an exceptional Gundam pilot. He's very logical in his outlook, and takes his missions very seriously. Being an Innovator, Tieria has the ability to use quantum brainwaves to communicate with other Innovators and Veda, the computer system of Celestial Being. This gives him the ability to use the TRIAL system in Virtue/Nadleeh and Seravee/Seraphim Gundams. His body is genetically engineered to age slower than a human, and contains nanomachinery to assist with this different aging as well.
Weaknesses: Tieria knows nothing about his past previous to meeting Regene. He's bad at social interactions, coming across as cold and uncaring. He still has trouble with what seem to be newfound emotions after losing contact with VEDA, going through depression, severe bouts of vengeance, and difficulty controlling stronger emotions like anger and frustration. The normally cool-headed pilot ends up becoming volatile in certain cases during battle and when pushed to his limits. He goes so far as to outright attack Ali in revenge for Neil's death and pulls a gun on Ribbons when the lead Innovator insults Neil to Tieria's face. Tieria's very sensitive on the subject of Neil Dylandy and carries heavy guilt about what happened to the sniper. Tieria also wears glasses. As to whether this is a personal choice or a necessity, the canon is not clear. However, it is safe to assume that he wears them to correct a defect that was unable to be corrected through genetic manipulation as Regene, the other Innovator with the same DNA sequence as Tieria, also wears them. It is most likely a minor defect in his vision, as he often goes without if they will interfere with something, such as wearing his pilot's helmet (and Regene does this as well when he wears his space suit), and he can clearly function quite well without them. Most likely, it's a minor astigmatism, or other small issue that, while not a major hinderance to his vision, leaves him missing the finer details that normally someone with perfect vision would be able to see.
