Two I recall from rainy afternoons and hot summer days:
1. Life--I have ended up with TWO CARS FULL OF KIDS way, WAY more often than anyone should have; I am *convinced* my siblings cheated their heads off somehow!
2. Monopoly--was surprised and *pleased* to hear there's a shorter form of the game now, because it always took HOURS.
3. Well, okay, three--Othello, if anyone knows it? Once I got it for a Christmas present, and taught my brother, he proceeded to win on a regular basis. Also chess; checkers was a toss-up, and we'd all lose to our dad^^

Oh! Literati online--never *vicious*, quite, because the folks I played it with and I would get distracted finding stories in the letter tiles? (best word game to play with a bunch of folks you know, given time and occasional dictionary/thesaurus assistance!)
RL Scrabble got rowdy sometimes, because people would make up words, but overall, I am more rambly than confrontational, sorry!
