[RED had settled on the ground, laying his tools all around him as he leaned his back into the tree behind him. Next to his leg sat his lunch- some sort of a sandwich with bacon on it and a biscuit set atop the paper sack he'd carried it in. Rifle in his lap, he was ready to get started on fixing up the weapon.
Well, almost ready. Just as he started looking the firearm over and deciding where to begin, he heard a familiar thwok from a tree several yards away. Looking around the trunk at his back, he spotted the cause: arrows. That meant BLU was probably nearby. His brow knitted together- he'd not spoken to his rival since their argument. To be fair, it was more of RED's argument, given that BLU had been right. He was letting himself get too involved with Pyro, but too stubborn to ask for any sort of advice. It was up to him to handle it alone. That was just how he did things.
Another thwok- he turned his attention to the gun, trying not to think too hard about the noise.]
*Tipsy trots up to the tree full of arrows, making a squeaky barking noise when she spots the other Sniper. But back to her task. She chomps down on an arrow, leaving the point in the tree and waddles back to BLU with the tail end of it.
BLU sighs, patting her head, before patiently leading her back to the tree and pulling the other half out.*
Ya gotta get this too Tips. I ain't gonna be able t' shoot anyone with half an arrow.
*He held the other half of the arrow out to her, smiling softly and scratching the little tuft of fur on her head. Chatting with her as if she understood anything he was saying, still having not noticed the RED only a few yards away.*
[RED eyed his rival as he chatted with the crocadog in a similar fashion to the way he talked to Teriyaki. He was out alone for a change, having figured the pup would be all in his things and hopping around in his lap while he was trying to work.
He thought for half a second he might say something, get BLU's attention. He knew somewhere in him that he owed his fellow Sniper an apology, but he couldn't find it in him to muster one up just yet. He pushed a breath through his nose, taking a bite of his sandwich to stifle down all that ran through him. They weren't friends, but that didn't mean he wanted BLU angry at him forever. He owed the guy a lot, as much as he hated to admit he was indebted.
And yet, he kept silent as he felt that awkward stubbornness rising in him, deciding he needed another minute to put together anything that needed to be said. After all, he'd done an awful job defending his position in their last conversation.]
*The smell of bacon in that sandwich mixed with recognizing the other Sniper as a source of food led Tipsy to trot over to him and deposit a broken arrowshaft at his feet, wiggling her butt around in an attempt to wag her tail.
The BLU sighed before following behind her over to the RED. To collect his arrow, not because he has anything to say to the man.*
*He gives a half smile at the little wolf, it may be strange, but it's still a bit cute. His own crocadog sits by his feet, scratching at its head with a hind leg. Satoshi isn't close enough for her to be a growling menace.*
[Daxter's crocadog comes dashing across the park to greet Tipsy by manner of bowling her over, leaving behind an Ottsel walking along and occasionally kicking at the grass looking like the kid that no one wants on their team.]
[Trying to get a feel for such a big city was hard on foot, but Jake was at least pleased to have gotten some casual cold weather clothes and a coat.
These humans people were a bit odd to him, but aside from being furless with different ears and no tails they seemed pretty normal...certainly not as weird as giant Ci-Kat-Tas and mutants or aliens.
An arrow whizzing by catches his attention and he stops to watch sniper for a moment.]

[As usual, Satoshi has apparently materialized RIGHT THERE like a ghost or something, though he looks a bit preoccupied today, which is probably why.
And perched on his shoulders is the little winged wolf puppy he got for Christmas.]

Nah, just practicin' on my aim.
*He squints at that winged puppy.*
I was expectin' that thing t' be bigger.

No, whether he's just that young or grows more slowly, he's small.
[It sniffs at him, obviously trying to figure him out.]

*He turns to look at Jake. Welp, that sure is one giant talking cat. At this point he really shouldn't be surprised by this stuff anymore.*
