I havent watched tonight's yet (DVR'd since I just got home), but I saw the pilot on Netflix, and I quite enjoyed it, despite the inevitable pilot awkwardnesses you mention. I really love the Whitford/Perry dynamic, and I definitely think that will be the heart of the show.

I think its only real competition in this timeslot is CSI: Jakarta or whatever, so hopefully it will stick around!

Did you watch House last night? He even smiled once! House + an 18-year-old = quality programming.

Although I didn't readily find a transcript, I did find an earlier copy of the script for the pilot, which I thought was fairly interesting. Have you read it? In particular, I think it's a shame they took out the back-and-forth parts between Tom and Simon. It would have helped to better distinugish them from the whirlwind parade of people we were introduced to ( ... )
