You have a long-lost brother or somethin'?

Hardly. I believe he's a psychological manifestation of the anxiety this new environment has put on me. If not a rather strong manifestation...

You got that much stress going on, kiddo? Might wanna see if you can't have some fun.

Please refrain from referring to me as 'kiddo'. The name is Artemis Fowl.

And I'm finding it rather difficult to have fun when I haven't the faintest idea where I am or, really, why. Too many questions without answers.

[Oh haha. That's annoying and makes Nina want to punt his face it. But she figures Greg would just amicably laugh, so he just does that]

Folks neglect to give you the rundown, or are you just not trustin' their conclusions? [Kiddo.]

Both, I suspect. When I first arrived, I was merely led to the village and out of the forest. However my exploration and investigation has only led me to a few documents written by people in captivity--thus I'm not exactly certain they can be trusted as viable information sources.

Well the first one's just unfortunate, but the second one... well, fair enough. Seems a little harsh on your fellows though.

I don't particularly consider myself a 'nice' fellow, so I don't feel that my assessment is harsh at all. I only 'call it as I see it'.

Not imagine a lot of kids think they're that nice. That's the fad these days, ainnit?

The fad...? I hardly think my father raised me according to a 'fad'.

The utmost. He is, after all, the reason I am who I am today.

Lucky man, for his kid to admire him that much.
