It's great to hear from you, and I did get the present. Thanks very much! I meant to write sooner but I've been a bit busy this week. I've been looking at houses to rent and hopefully should be moving soon though I need to have a proper viewing first. It's in Hogsmeade so we can always have DA meet ups on Hogsmeade weekends!
I'm glad to hear you're going back, I'll be doing my N.E.W.T's so will be there until the end of October. I think we have to do our best to make sure it's back to normal. Otherwise the Carrows win a bit, especially for the poor kids who were first years last year, what a way to start.
Ron isn't the most understanding generally, but he might surprise you. Your family is your family no matter what. I think he might just get that, you should give him a chance. Your father did a lot for the war effort while he could and you can tell him from me I'm looking forwarding to seeing the Quibbler back in circulation.
I'd definitely go for a kneazle rather than an owl, if you're going back to school you can use the school owls then anyway and you should get the pet that you want. (My Gran had a kneazle when I was little and they're dead clever as well.)
I'll be heading up to Diagon Alley shortly to replace my school texts. (I don't know about you but the Carrows seem to have done away with anything I didn't take to the Room of Requirements to me last year.) If you fancy getting out and about for a bit we could always meet up there.
