I spent the day today looking at flats in London. I found several that were in my price range and also directly between the Ministry and Grimmauld Place. I told Mum and Dad today that I was looking for a place and they said they understood.
They really don't understand the life I'm making for myself but they are trying. I imagine its difficult having me around to remind them of a world they aren't a part of. I've also told them I'm seeing Ron and Mum especially seemed happy for me. I think they were relieved that they found one part of my life that they could understand.
I'm sending an owl off to Professor McGonagall and Kingsley tomorrow morning. I need to prepare myself for the NEWTs and I need to get my foot in the door at the Ministry. I've narrowed down my career choices to Magical Law Enforcement. I want to defend the rights of magical creatures. I'm planning on attending the trial of Delores Umbridge to see where the Wizengamot stands on her mistreatment of Lycanthropes, House Elves, and Muggle borns. Radical changes need to be made in our current laws and I think it is probably the most worthwhile use of my talents.
I feel dreadfully out of touch with Harry and Ginny. There never seems to be a moment where we can sit and just talk to each other. Harry and I need to talk about my relationship with Ron. I want him to know that no matter what Ron and I are with him still.
I'm also curious about Ginny and how she feels about the changes in her relationship with Harry. I'm also insanely curious about the gift he bought her for her birthday and what that means.
Ron and I have our first real date tomorrow night and he's planning to surprise me. I have to confess the transition from friendship to a relationship has gone smoother than I thought it would. He implied that he wanted to talk to me about some plans he's made.

Okay, I can say it because Dumbledore always said that Fear of a Name…Well I've been reading some books about sex. I've had the preliminary talk from my Mum but that didn't tell me what to do. I know it's too soon for Ron and I to consider taking that step but I like to be prepared. I've been color-coding my courses and I want to be sure I'm fully prepared when the time does come.
I guess I'd better spend sometime doing revisions to my notes from school. I want to be fully prepared to begin NEWTs tutoring. I don't want to stay at home for this and Ron mentioned something about Neville hosting a house share. I can't get my flat until my birthday but I certainly do need a place to stay that's accessible to the Hogwarts Library. I'll have to Owl him this weekend.
