here.
Complete
Hours after leaving Diagon Alley, a peppy little owl fluttered and pecked at the 5th Floor Bedroom window of The Burrow. Its tired wings flailed at the closed glass, waiting for someone to hear its incessant, impatient noisemaking and let it in. The hoots were muffled, for clutched in the beak of the tiny, spasming owl hung a letter nearly as large as the bird itself. The envelope was sealed with an intricate red wax seal bearing a large 'W' and was addressed as follows:
To my almost former, almost funny, almost fantastic employee.
Dear Ronald,
Sorry. I know it's taken me a bit of time to respond. Some important events occurred that needed my immediate attention .
Now that I've heard from both you and Verity, I think I've come to a good date for our meeting. How about Thursday evening after closing? I know you're not working but if you would be willing to meet Verity and I at the disclosed location following this letter, I would greatly appreciate it. Make sure you eat a good dinner before hand and come prepared for anything.
As for moving in with Harry, I won't tell Mum but the secret is going to cost you. Best offer.
And if you think socks are interchangeable, you've clearly never met a pair of mine. Tricky little mating charm Fred and I devised few years back. Works wonders and you never have to fold your laundry, though lately, all the left ones have taken to running off. I think they're having affairs.
See you Wednesday. Enjoy your two days off.
Your boss and savior,
George

old key and an address that undoubtedly belonged, once upon a time, to Zonko and his shop of jokes.
