I apologize for the delay in my response. As you probably know, this is a very busy time within the Wizarding world, and I wanted to respond to you personally rather than have my assistant do so.
We are still reconstructing the Magical Law Enforcement Department. However, given recommendations from Professors and discussions within the Order, I am eager to inform you of an opening in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. I have heard of your ongoing efforts for house-elf rights and am quite interested to hear more of your ideas.
Officially, I am to tell you that once you complete your NEWTs, given satisfactory results, I will consider your request for employment.
However, unofficially, I am simply awaiting the moment your NEWTs are delivered before I send personal requests to you, Mr. Weasley and Mr. Potter for consideration of employment within the Ministry.
