Dear Charlie,

You’ll be happy to know the investigation has begun and from what I have heard (which is not much really, this is not my assignment) they are putting a good deal of pressure on that horrid woman Kirkwell. Perhaps it is malicious of me but I do hope she will have to bask in the filth she’s created for a good long while.

You give me too much credit Charlie, I thank the Minster for taking the time. And as for what you said, we both know it wasn’t entirely uncalled for. Perhaps a bit much to throw at one time yes, but I do have to get used to the fact it’s something that you all have every right to address.

I suppose I am still a bit miffed regardless. I also should extend an apology though - I was simply retaliating when I addressed you after, I do not really think of you in that way. It was childish to get so vindictive and I am sorry for it.

Best of luck in your new position, when you do receive it. I have no doubt that you will soon. Do try and think things over before being rash - I do not mean to nag but I simply hope such a fiasco will not happen again. Come to me or father first, please?

With Love,
Percy
