When Charlie began to mumble, Patricia snapped to attention and set the newspaper aside, her focus now on Charlie. He was muttering something...Nadia? Fred? She wasn't sure, as it sounded to be in another language.

"Charlie?" she asked, placing a hand on his arm. "Are you all right?" His eyes were closed now and he winced. She couldn't help but wince herself and he moaned, causing her to stand quickly. "You collapsed, Charlie. Trying to show off with your knowledge of bats and trolls and centaurs..." She scolded him, but did it lightly. "I sent a letter to your brother, so when he gets here...Charlie?" He didn't say a word and she chewed on her bottom lip anxiously. Leaning forward, she checked his pulse, relieved when he sucked in a loud breath. "Do you need me to get someone?"

"Señor, perhaps..."

"Perhaps nothing, now let me through." The pair of voices grew steadily louder as they approached the door, which swung open to reveal a very flustered red headed glaring at anything in sight and a rather frazzled doctor. Before the doctor could protest further Percy marched over to the bed, face set in a scowl.

"God help you and your descendants Charles Septimus Weasley because I'm going to-" Percy's rant died in his throat as he got a good view of his older brother, angry expression fading into deep concern. He stared for a long moment before registering Patricia's presence and turning to her, not bothering to hide his worry behind his normally professional facade. "How is he? Has he woken up?" he asked, going to the other side of Charlie's bed and looking down at him tensely. "What on earth happened?"

Charlie did not want to open his eyes again; it had been too painful the first time. "You... are not Nadia," he said, slowly. The woman had a familiar voice, but everything was so confused that he couldn't remember her at the moment. He frowned, trying to focus, but quickly gave up - that would have to wait for later. What she had said about "centaurs" and "bats" sounded like something he should remember as well, but it made no real sense for now. There was only one thing he knew. "A wall fell on me," he whispered. "My chest hurts, but I'm fine."

The woman had said she had written to his brother. Was this the reason why he had heard Fred? "Is - is Fred here?" he asked.
Fred... Charlie's hands clenched the sheets of their own accord when he pronounced his brother's name, as a different kind of pain tightened his chest. And all at once, it sank in. He had not heard Fred, because Fred was gone ( ... )

Frustrated at Charlie's condition, Patricia turned to Percy. "We had a meeting with centaurs, and for some reason unknown to me, they demanded to be met in the Dark Forest, which of course, meant a lot of dangerous creatures, supposedly, and Charlie took it upon himself to deal with every single one that happened to come waltzing by, including these flesh eating bats, or whatever they were." She took a deep breath to steady herself. "In any case, he doesn't take any care of himself, it seems, and all his galavanting around with deadly creatures has caught up to him." She ran a hand over her hair, sighing. "I didn't know who else to contact other than your mother, and I wasn't sure how wise that would be."

"Merlin Charlie..." Percy muttered, taking a seat in on of the adjacent chairs as his attention was drawn once more to his brother. He barely surpressed a wince at the comments of the wall and Fred, a frown settling on his lips. "Did he receive any head injuries?" he asked, glancing now to the doctor who he had been nearly shouting at a moment before. The young man shook his head, pulling out Charlie's chart to flip through ( ... )
