Mum's already probably sent you a Howler about missing the party, so I'll spare you all that and just say THANK YOU for your help with Harry's gift. It turned out to be just the right thing, in several respects. And since I know what you're thinking, I'll spare you the wait: yes we are, no we haven't, and I'll hex you if you even think about lecturing him. I'm quite old enough to pick my own boyfriends, thank you.
That said, we got our Hogwarts owls this morning--I'm Quidditch Captain! Can you believe it? You should have seen everyone's reactions when they found out--I thought Ron was going faint, he looked so shocked!
I'll make sure that when the race for the House Cup gets started, the Gryffindor team will make a large order of Snackboxes--just to even the odds between us and Slytherin, of course.
Hope to see you on Sunday for dinner, or Mum will most likely drag you from Diagon Alley herself.
