I may make occasional public entries, but for the most part I'm sealing this thing up. I've started using it for more and more daring posts, and am beginning to find that the same concerns that came up in my public journal are starting to boil up for this one.

i still want access. what you can do is make friends groups and then if you have teh sema client which i can link you too if you want instead of the normal client you can right click it on your desktray and choose "view friends group" and that way you can filter out the journals you don't read. it sounds confusing but it isn't really.

Okay, now that I'm more awake, I think I'm getting a better idea of what you're saying. What I should end up doing (I think) is:

adding everyone who I'm willing to have read my journal as a "Friend"
create at least one filter that trims out the people whose journals I don't normally read
read my LJ friends list through that filter, rather than reading the journals of anyone who happens to want to read mine

If that's what you're getting at, then, cool -- I'm currently working on it. Thanks for the tip!

Thank you! I find it interesting that a movie I only saw part of by accident could hitch a ride on my identity, but yes -- whoever originally came up with the title was inspired!
