mid-winter bearness

Jan 10, 2008 09:20

First off, here a few years back I was told directly "Performing Bears do not hibernate" in winter I am quiescent and very home oriented and the reason bears such as myself do not hibernate is "...because they are4 working on their next year stunts"    This year that appears to mean working on he woods in which I live.  We were struck by a ( Read more... )

My very dear, we're more than willing to be understanding. We're just delighted whenever you grace us with your presence, Sir Byron. *hee*

I'm sorry to hear about your trees; ours suffered as well and we may lose a couple altogether. Even sorrier to hear about your father but it's wonderful that your mother has you to help her through this. I suspect I'm soon to go through the same thing, as my father seems anxious to join my mother who left us about 4 years ago.

Hugs, dear, and hugs in person when we see you at Muskogee. I can't wait to see the "new" you! I promise I won't put my fingers in your mouth!

Thank you good Rowan, it's always a pleasure to hear from you. I'll need to come back to Missouri so I can enjoy the title and I may well be the first beknighted bear ( ... )

Well it appears from here that I haven't replied to any of you from my laptop, but I did, wonder what happened. I'm still working on my trees, it's been somewhat fortunate as I have had a bounty of wood to heat my cabin with and of course, it's keeping me in good shape for work which begins the end of February ( ... )

They are indeed. It certainly brings life into focus and purpose. I shall miss him but not a day goes by that something he's taught me doesn't find me busy at that same task. I learned my work ethics from my Father, who worked hard, perhaps too hard in his life and I am grateful for having such a father. Thank you for your condolences, support and the chance of speaking of one's loved is important for the heart.

Well be doing quite a few bear educational programs in the Ozarks for the school children. I hadn't given much thought to bookings otherwise. Joplin would be good for me but this year it runs against an event in Texas I think. I should check. It would be my pleasure to see and administer proper and fitting hugs for Fionnabhar...hmmm bhar....that's very like bear isn't it? = )

Thank you. I am a Spiritual bear and know that any beginning is followed by an end and likewise, no end does not beget a beginning. It is the great circle of life, though I see it more as a spiral either ascending or descending, dependant upon the wont of the person. For my father, he was always kind to people and helpful and well liked by many people, his memory will long remain and his spirit ascendant. My heart sores like a hawk to think of the blessings bestowed by my father upon me.
